Chase Mirassou

He/him

Chase Mirassou is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in California. He has been a funeral service practitioner for 13 years, and has an array of experience, participating with different cultures when it comes to death care. He’s a mortuary science professor for 3 different schools, and is an advocate of equity within death care work. He’s an avid plant caretaker, big foodie, and enjoys quite a bit of hiking across the United States. Chase’s biggest objective for LifeSource is to cultivate the thanatological aspect back into funeral service as a cornerstone for society. In his experience, he has watched families time and time again, lost in the grieving process. He feels that mortuaries should be a guide and a stepping stone to the family’s journey as they process this milestone we all must face. It is his hope and goal that LifeSource Deathcare is more than just a mortuary, that it is a foundation a family can build on to help them through their loss.
