BLOGS FROM LIFESOURCE

Braeden Cohen

He/him

Braeden graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Environmental Science. He turned his passion for public and environmental health into a decade-plus-long career building healthy soils through organics recycling. Braeden is a subject matter expert in all things compost and regenerative soil practices. His path into deathcare felt natural — he’s wanted to be composted since starting his career in 2012. When California legalized natural organic reduction, and after attending the first annual TerraCon, he knew this is what he was meant to do. Now leading the helm of LifeSource, he’s excited to offer Terramation and other sustainable deathcare services that are as healing for our families as they are our planet. A passionate educator, Braeden loves sharing knowledge and ensuring everyone who reaches out to LifeSource leaves with a better understanding of sustainable deathcare options — no matter who they choose to work with.

Outside of work, Braeden is a music and food nerd who loves tea, espresso and being surrounded by plants. He enjoys lazy Sundays with his partner and three cats, has fierce opinions about pizza, and believes picking a favorite outdoor space is as impossible as picking a favorite food.
