Rigoberto

–

Henderson, Nevada

It is with a heavy heart that I, Eddie, write this tribute for my soulmate, Rigoberto Guzman Perez, affectionately known to us as Rigo. Born on March 18, 1976, in the vibrant city of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, Rigo embarked on a journey that led him to touch countless lives with his charismatic and empathetic nature. His journey came to a peaceful close on the first day of the new year, 2026.

Rigo brought his ambitious spirit to Henderson, Nevada, where he lived for 15 memorable years. With every interaction, Rigo brought a touch of warmth, a listening ear, and a contagious smile. His loving nature could turn even the most ordinary moment into something special. He was a man who found joy in human kindness, and his generosity knew no bounds. His mission was simple, yet profound; he just wanted everyone to be happy and put a smile on their face.

Beyond his work, Rigo embodied a zest for life that was truly inspiring. His ambitious nature extended beyond his professional life, driving him to explore the world and its myriad cultures. His travel stories were not just tales of places and cuisines but reflections of his deep understanding of human nature and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart," and that was Rigo's way. He felt the beauty of life with all his heart and shared it generously with those around him.

Rigoberto leaves behind his surviving family - his loving spouse of 16 years, Edward Vodek, his parents, Jesus Guzman and Melania Perez of Victorville Ca, his brothers Manny, Jose, Ramon, Misa, Victor, Raul, and his two sisters Ceci and Mary along with 10 nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his two fur babies Stella and Buster. His spirit and memories also live on in the hearts of his many cousins, friends, colleagues, and everyone whose life he touched. We invite you to share your fond memories, stories, and photographs of Rigo on his memorial page. In doing so, we keep his spirit alive, celebrating a life well-lived and a man well-loved. Goodbye for now Rigo we can't wait for the time we see you again.
